Welcome to our comprehensive drone education ecosystem, a complete pathway designed to take any student from a curious beginner to a skilled, certified, and career-ready drone expert. By partnering with iCode and Drone Legends, we have created a step-by-step journey that builds confidence, practical skills, and professional knowledge in the most exciting fields of modern technology: aviation, robotics, and coding. Whether your child is a gamer who loves competition, a hands-on builder, a future aviator, or a budding programmer, our pathway offers a course that will ignite their passion and equip them with high-demand skills for the future. Our curriculum is designed as a logical progression, where each stage builds upon the skills learned in the last. This ensures students develop a complete and well-rounded understanding of drone technology.
Start at Any Stage!
Launchpad White: Starter 1 – The Egyptian Expedition: Autonomous Operations (Ages approx. 10-13)
Program: Coding Drones I
Objective: To apply math, science, and computational thinking to explore ancient mysteries and fly virtual drones through an interactive, story-driven landscape.
Skills Gained: Block-based drone coding, virtual airspace navigation, mission planning with metric measurements, solving spatial challenges, and applying computational thinking to complete mission objectives.
Outcome: The student becomes a pilot, a coder, and a problem-solver, establishing a strong foundation in drone operations, coding logic, and real-world STEM application.
Velocity Yellow: Starter 2 – Command with Code (Ages approx. 10-13)
Program: Coding Drones II
Objective: To learn programming and automation for advanced drone applications.
Skills Gained: Block or text-based coding (e.g., Python), algorithmic thinking, problem-solving, and executing autonomous flight missions.
Outcome: The student evolves from a pilot to a drone solutions developer, capable of using drones to collect data, perform automated tasks, and innovate in the fields of engineering and computer science.
Aero Blue: Foundation – Master the Controls (Elementary, Middle School and High School)
Program: Drone Racing Simulation
Objective: To learn the fundamentals of drone piloting in a safe and engaging virtual environment.
Skills Gained: Hand-eye coordination, understanding of flight physics, basic and advanced maneuvering, and competitive racing strategies.
Outcome: The student becomes a confident virtual pilot, ready to handle real hardware without the fear of crashing expensive equipment.
Sky Master Red: Flight Skills – Take to the Skies (Middle School and High School)
Program: FPV Initiator
Objective: To apply simulator skills to piloting real-world drones.
Skills Gained: Real-world FPV piloting, drone assembly and maintenance, battery safety, and executing precise flight patterns.
Outcome: The student is now a competent and skilled hands-on drone pilot, comfortable with the hardware and capable of flying with precision.
Flight Commander Black: Professional – Become a Certified Aviator (16+ for High School, College and Adult)
Program: FAA Part 107 Test Prep
Objective: To learn the federal regulations and aeronautical knowledge required for commercial drone operations.
Skills Gained: Mastery of FAA rules, reading sectional charts, understanding airspace and weather, and professional flight planning.
Outcome: The student passes the FAA exam and earns their Remote Pilot Certificate, legally qualifying them for jobs and career opportunities in the drone industry.
